Take Time to Have Time

A Sustainable Path to Recovery and Renewal

The Healing Path, is a journey of discovery. Walk with us on a journey and allow yourself to grow, physically, mentally and spiritually in a community of your peers. Teach us your story and let us share with you our journey to  holistic health.

Where Healing Happens with Structure and Esteem

At The Healing Path,  recovery is not just about overcoming addiction—it’s about creating a meaningful and fulfilling life. Rooted in the principles of permaculture, community, care economy, and commitment, our philosophy shapes every aspect of our program.

We offer a structured environment that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of recovery, empowering our members to become the people they are meant to be. Through meaningful work, peer support, and sustainable living practices, we guide individuals on a journey toward self-reliance and fulfillment and self esteem.

The Way of Life at The Healing Path

Recovery takes time. Participants are expected to commit to a  six month program, with the option to renew up to three years, reflecting a long-term dedication to healing. This duration allows for  emotional recalibration, and the development of sustainable life skills. Time is something we have plenty of , but we don’t waste a moment of it. In return the participant helps build the community of the future.

A structured daily routine creates stability. It creates community and it creates confidence. There is always time for work play and study. Community get togethers and mindfulness moments in each day allow us to check in on our progress and recalibrate gently towards our goals on a daily basis.

It takes a village to raise a child they say. It certainly takes a community to help us realise we are worthy loveable human beings. Living and working together with common goals, we take care to share our past and our hopes for the future. The best teachers we find are often those who have lived what we have lived.

Community is a safe respectful space where each of us can thrive.

Our holistic approach not only looks after the body. We hope to help you heal your mind body and spirit. Mindfulness exercises, sports, physical work, study and learning all contribute to building us up into our more accomplished selves. Many of us can bring talents we have let slip and open ourselves to ways of learning we might never have experienced. Heal the body the mind will follow, heal the mind the soul will heal, heal the soul and you heal a community.

Self reliance means taking responsibility. It doesn’t mean going it alone. Self reliance is getting up, making your bed, cleaning your self and your space. Getting ready for your day and participating with others without having to be told what to do. Self reliance is taking initiatives, establishing healthy boundaries and helping others. Social enterprise is working together for the good of the community. We help each other grow and expand in our pursuit of excellence and efficiency.

If you make it through the day without falling into old addictions it’s something to celebrate. If you make it through the day and have visible signs of progress it’s something to celebrate. Sometimes , just making it through the day, is reason enough to celebrate. We celebrate our existence, our achievements, our progress and our community. Life is here to be enjoyed.

The Philosophy Behind The Healing Path

At The Healing Path, we believe recovery is not just about overcoming addiction—it’s about creating a meaningful and fulfilling life. Rooted in the principles of community, responsibility, and growth, our philosophy shapes every aspect of our program.

Recovery Takes Time

True healing requires patience and commitment. We offer a long-term model, beginning with a six-month participation, to ensure participants take the time to come to terms with a healthy way of living. You can commit to however short a period you want, in order to get a feel for the community.

Community is the Foundation

No one heals alone. No longer isolated and alone. Work rest and play with the healing community and become the best self you were meant to be. We make no promises. Healing is up to you. We will support you every step of the way.

Holistic Healing Matters

We address the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Nutrition, fitness, therapy, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection come together to create a balanced path to recovery.
