Growth and Abundance
14 July 2025
I write this on the 14 July, France’s bastille day.
We are now two in The Healing Path for the last 4 days. Strangely it seems as if it has always been this way. It’s not for me to reveal who is or isn’t here. Maybe she has been mentioned before maybe not. However she is here with a lot of experience and strength and she is here for healing.
My job is to be the guide, healer, listener , confident, non judgemental, community leader. I see already the great work, and the great healing being done.
In time I will be able to communicate that the physical work is not important. It needs to be done, but there is not a deadline, not a cut-off point. The most important thing when you come to The Healing Path is that you learn to stop. Stop the need to achieve, or produce, or perform. Listen, to your body, ( not your mind, your body is telling you all you need to listen to, your mind will trick you) .. Heal, your self image, your deep emotional wounds, your self. Stop Listen Heal…
What is on offer here is a complete 180 degree to what you feel or think society is asking you. We don’t judge, we help. We don’t criticise we support. I am even trying not to correct , but to just gently guide.
Donations continue to come our way gently, a beautiful donor has bought us a food drier, so when we get our fruit and veg in abundance we can dry and even powder, in order to preserve and not waste our produce.
We have eaten our first tomatoes, beets, potatoes, herbs, Kale, that I have planted since March. I am learning a lot about how companion planting works and how it doesn’t when I don’t get it wrong. Our pumpkins are growing which is so thrilling. Our maize seems to be producing which is fantastic.
Next Friday we have a guest coming to help us with the work. We have two bedrooms as yet untouched and it would be wonderful to get them done in that week.
There is a huge amount of things to be achieved and I can see lists appearing soon. I have to emphasise the importance is not to complete, it’s just to work a little bit every day and allow the progress to happen as it happens. The most important is to be present.
How does one walk that fine line between leadership and support, between director and participant? What do we tolerate what do we allow?
So much to organise now, and now that I have submitted my third paper for my Msc in Psychology , I have a few months where I can give the project the attention it deserves but I must remember….. it’s not about achievement, it’s about sustainable building….
Thanks for reading, I have some issues with Paypal by the way so if you are making a donation please reach out directly…
Catch yall soon.
Love and companssion
